Hosted by the dynamic duo, Groove Junkies, MoHo Stereo is the stomping ground for quality house music - a monthly radio show that is widely considered as one of the premier outlets for showcasing the latest and hottest house music. Launched in early 2007, MoHo Stereo airs in 5 continents on FM, internet, and terrestrial radio, and has a listenership of hundreds of thousands and counting. Additionally, any given current show also streams 'on demand' during the following month. To get your music played and featured on the upcoming show that will air throughout the entire month of August, and also be included on our archived stream during September (click here to listen), simply read the rules, sign up, and you’ll be in the running!

So…….get ta movin’! Please send us the requested details below, and a link where we can download or listen to your track for submission.

THE BASICS

Who's Eligible - Anyone - as long as you present us with your own original recorded music.

Quality - Please send high quality MP3’s via You Send It or any similar file sending service of at least 192k bitrate.

Signed or Un-signed Material - We honor both, however, if the song or track is signed to a label, we must have the label’s written permission to air it on the show as we are making the music available to the public.

Genre/Style - We are looking for an original (No samples please) song/track that will put a smile on our face, and make us want to shake our *ss n' move our feet (ie; soulful, funky, deep, techy, latin, afro, peak hour house). Please come with your ‘A’ game! If you are not familiar with MoHo stereo please take a listen first as your material has to stay within the format of the show. (click here to listen) Btw, no profanity please as this will be aired on FM networks that have very strict rules.

Duration - Please submit tracks to contest@morehouserecords.com that are no shorter than 5:30 minutes, and no longer than 7:30 minutes (Tip - DJ friendly intros and outros are a huge plus!).

Submission Deadline – All tracks/songs (and any possible label permission clearance if applicable) must be submitted by July 25th, 2008 to be in the running.

Prize - Winner gets their song/track played & featured by Groove Junkies on the August 2008 MoHo Stereo Show. Winner will be announced July 31, 2008.

THE FINE PRINT

• The person submitting the track must be the one who made it. Any tracks that have more than one claimant will be disqualified;

• MoreHouse Records Inc.reserves the right to disqualify any song/track for inappropriate content and/or failure to follow the contest rules;

• By entering the song contest each entrant grants MoreHouse Records a non-exclusive right to showcase the track in the MoHo Stereo Radio Show, MoreHouse Records marketing and promotional materials, including featuring it on MoreHouse Records website and its social networking groups.

• By submitting a song, you certify that the song is original, was created and produced solely by you, does not violate any copyright laws, and does not libel, defame, disparage, slander or otherwise infringe on or violate the rights of any third parties. You also certify that you have obtained all necessary and appropriate approvals from all persons and entities participating in or otherwise involved with the creation and production of the song. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MoreHouse Records, Friends of MoreHouse Records, its officers, directors and employees, and affiliated organizations, and their respective officers, directors and employees, from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, liabilities, and causes of action of whatsoever nature that are based upon or rise out of any materials breach by you, the entrant, of these contest rules or the representations made in this paragraph.
