Simply download the vocal parts & clock stem for free, strategize the musical direction that you're going to take, remix it, submit, and your mix may be the lucky one chosen! The winning remix will be included on Midnight 2010, MoreHouse Records next major commercial release just before the New Year!
A Little History
One of the most celebrated tunes from the MoreHouse Records Catalogue, Midnight was featured on the critically acclaimed AfterDark Los Angeles mix released on Kinkysweet Recordings, and was included on Om Records prestigious mix compilation OM Summer Sessions. A crowd favorite on any given night, and the perfect tune to drop when the clock strikes twelve on New Years Eve; Midnight is also highly sought for the DJ tools which were included on the original vinyl release. Original support includes a ‘Who’s Who’ list of House music legends such as Frankie Knuckles,Tony Humphries, Roger Sanchez, and Kerri Chandler just to name a few.

OFICIAL RULES
All Entries must be received by 5:00pm PST on December 4, 2009
The remix must be in Wave format and contain distinguishable elements of the Midnight stems provided by MoreHouse Records.
The Contest is open to everyone! Since MoreHouse Records is a Dance music label, we will only accept music that falls under the Dance Music umbrella; ie. Deep, Soulful, Funky, Electro, Tech-House, Jackin, Minimal, Tribal, Fidget.
The BPM on all vocal parts and clock stem is 126. The BPM on your mix can be whatever you'd like it to be as long as the end result is on point!
Multiple entries per person permitted. No More than One (1) Prize will be granted to each winner.
Entries will be judged by MoreHouse Records A&R

Submissions may not contain any copyrighted material other than the stems we 've provided for Midnight 2010 Remix Contest. Remixes using 'uncleared' samples will be disqualified. An 'uncleared sample' is a musical work, loop or sample that you do not own the copyright for (ie: you didn't create it). You are free to use sounds that were created by you.
All submissions become property of MoreHouse Records Inc. Tracks not selected for release by MoreHouse Records are relinquished to the Remixer. Any unauthorized use of MoreHouse Records parts, tracks, vocals, or lyrics is prohibited and is an infringement of copyright law. Any use of the content provided is solely for the purpose of the Midnight 2010 Remix Contest.
